About

No Quarter Given is about injuries that happen in places open to the public — shops, restaurants, car parks — and what the business that runs them owes you when they do.

What we cover

  • Slip and fall accidents. Wet floors, unmarked spills, poor lighting, obstructed aisles. These cases turn on whether the business took reasonable care, and that is rarely as obvious as it looks from the outside.
  • Accidents in large retailers. How big chains handle customer accidents, what their internal process looks like, and what that means for you if you are hurt on their premises.

How we write

Specifics rather than slogans. “Report it and take photos” is advice anyone can give; what helps is knowing what to photograph, who the report should go to, and why the delay between the incident and the paperwork matters so much.

What this site is not

An information site, not a law firm. Nothing here is legal advice and reading it creates no professional relationship. Premises liability varies by state and your own facts decide your case — talk to a qualified attorney licensed where you live.
